At the ASG International headquarters in Mussolente (Italy), Team Mitchelton-SCOTT and ASG Bike Science have signed an important agreement for 2018.
ASG Bike Science will be the official bike fitter for the UCI World Tour Teams, Mitchelton-SCOTT (men and women) and the Continental Team TBC.
The agreement provides that all Team riders, including Matteo Trentin, Esteban Chaves, Caleb Ewan, Adam & Simon Yates, Daryl Impey, Mikel Nieve, can take advantage of the bike fitting services, technical advice of ASG Bike Science and facilities at the ASG International headquarters in Italy.
The foundations of the ASG Bike Science methodology resides in objective, dynamic and accurate data. Every cyclist has his own physical attributes and unique biomechanics which means that the use of universal parameters for the evaluation of different individuals are fundamentally flawed.
During a bike fitting session in the Mussolente (Italy) ASG Bike Science lab, modifications to the rider’s Scott bikes are made in real time, immediately verifying results until the desired objectives are achieved. The professional team of Nik and Enrico pay a lot of attention to the individual needs of the cyclist being assisted, a team effort that ends with one goal – perfect union between man and machine.
Kevin Tabotta, Mitchelton-SCOTT’s performance director, during a recent visit to ASG International declared “I was really impressed by the professionalism and potential that ASG Bike Science can guarantee to our athletes and we immediately agreed to collaborate together . In modern cycling you can not leave anything to chance and for our riders we always want the best.”
Claudio Fantin, marketing strategist of the ASG Group confirms “with Mitchelton-SCOTT we are presented with an exciting challenge and we are ready to demonstrate how ASG Bike Science can be a serious partner in a winning team structure. We wish the team a season filled with success and we are happy to be able to contribute and support them. Our bike fitters Nik and Enrico are graduates in physical education, have the best equipment available on the market and have been working with the world’s best athletes since 2009, they have a palmares of … world champions!”
